BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) LIMITATIONS
Please be advised that Body Mass Index (BMI) limitations are in place for clients of RTEC. Weight restrictions are not meant to cause discomfort or embarrassment, but to ensure the safety of riders and maintain the health and well-being of our horses. The maximum rider weight is 210 pounds, regardless of height. The maximum BMI is 31.
Please use the chart below to determine your BMI. Find your height in the left column, and move across the chart to find your weight. The top row will show the BMI number for your height and weight. Ineligible BMI numbers and weights are shaded in light red.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is in poor physical condition, weighs over 210 pounds, and/or has a BMI that exceeds 31.
